Verizon Wireless plans online job fair to fill 60 openings
Verizon Wireless is planning online webinars and job fairs to fill more than 60 retail positions in Indianapolis, Bloomington, Lafayette and Fort Wayne.
That’s in addition to the 172 new employees the company has hired in Indiana in the past year, an increase fueled by the growing number of and demand for tech devices that have come to market in that time, including the iPhone 4S. Verizon Wireless currently employs 709 workers in its 36 Indiana retail locations.
Job requirements include an associate degree, a year of sales experience and knowledge of related technology.
