Verizon Telecom Pioneers present gift to McAuley Center
Wilkes-Barre Club, Verizon Telecom Pioneers 7, recently presented a Price Chopper gift card to the Catherine McAuley Center in Plymouth. The Verizon Telecom Pioneers is a volunteer organization of active and retired members of Verizon Communications employees who are involved in many volunteer and charitable activities in the area. The group is the largest industry related community service organization in the country. The Catherine McAuley Center meets the housing needs of women by providing temporary shelter for women and children in crisis.
