Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) has launched the “A Day in the Life of a History Maker” program in High Schools.

Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ), the New York City based telecommunications company and largest 4G LTE network provider in the United States, has reportedly launched the “A Day in the Life of a History Maker” program with UNCF, Teacher Planet and Get Schooled to motivate high school students across New England by introducing prominent African American history makers to students.

Christine Berberich, New England Region President for Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) Verizon Wireless, said, “Education and diversity are incredibly important to Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ)’ Verizon Wireless. We worked hard to make this multifaceted program relevant to today’s students, and we hope it inspires them to become great history makers themselves.”
