Premium Verizon Retailer Opens New Store in Picayune
Cellular Sales opens new store, boosts local economy with new sales positions
Picayune, Miss. (PRWEB) November 28, 2011
Cellular Sales, the nation’s largest Verizon premium wireless retailer, recently announced the opening of its newest store located at 1401 Armand Drive in Picayune.
“Cellular Sales’ main goal is to provide the best customer service and make sure our customers are satisfied,” said Alec Rankine, regional director of Cellular Sales. “Our new store in the Picayune area is an example of our success in fulfilling our customers’ needs.”
Cellular Sales – one of the fastest growing retail companies in the nation – currently operates three retail locations in Mississippi and nearly 500 stores across the U.S.
The new store has created several new sales consultant positions, all of which will be filled by local workers.
The company noted the wireless retailer will provide a boost to the local economy in Pearl River County where the unemployment rate is more than 11.7 percent, up from 10.7 percent in August.
According to Rankine, the Cellular Sales consultants nationwide average more than $51,000 a year.

The Picayune store will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on
Sunday from noon until 6 p.m.
