Greg should talk to DA: att’y

Police Commissioner Ray Kelly’s son Greg has not talked to Manhattan DA investigators probing his alleged rape of a paralegal — but he should do so to try to kill the wobbly case, a top defense attorney said yesterday.

“Although it’s a very unorthodox strategy, I would not hesitate to have Greg Kelly sit down with the DA or investigators,” said Arthur Aidala, a lawyer not associated with the case involving Kelly, co-anchor of the Fox 5 TV show “Good Day New York.”

“He’s intelligent, articulate, credible,” Aidala noted.

“He needs to preserve his good name by any means necessary.’’

Greg Kelly, 43, is accused by the 29-year-old woman of raping her in her lower Manhattan law firm’s offices on Oct. 8 after they shared drinks at the South Street Seaport.

DA investigators are skeptical of her claim and are leaning toward not charging him — mainly because of a three-month lag in reporting the alleged rape, and because of sexual text messages the duo exchanged before their fateful date, sources said.
